Family oriented community with lakes, parks, & easy access to metros
Salem Township Hospital is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to staff their rural health clinic. The clinic is open 11 am to 7 pm seven
days a week. The opportunity will be for five 8 hour shifts per week. It may be required that you work two weekends per month
but this will be part of your five 8 hour shifts. So, you will have additional days off during the week. There is no call required.
The clinic sees all walk in patients. An emergency medicine physician is available 24 hours a day for medical direction as
needed. This is a great opportunity to offer your input into the building and relocation of the rural health clinic. The rural
health clinic is currently integrated into the emergency room. Salem Township Hospital will be relocating the rural health clinic
to a location beside but not attached to the Emergency Room. This will allow for patient rooms and waiting areas exclusive to
the clinic. The new practitioner’s opinions and input regarding the new clinic will be highly regarded. There is also opportunity
to grow the staff to three nurse practitioners in the near future.
The opportunity is offering a very competitive salary. You will have a full benefits package and other benefits including paid
malpractice, paid CME, and a large bank of paid vacation and sick time.
