Northwestern Illinois Community seeking an OB/Gyn

Perry Memorial Hospital is seeking an OB/Gyn to join their current OB/Gyn and midwife.  Call for the practice will be 1:4, shared
with the OB/Gyn and two Family Physician.  There is also a midwife working with the OB/Gyn.  The hospitals birthing center is
fully equipped with the latest in birthing and imaging technology.   The hospital has about 144 births per year.   This
opportunity will build a practice and provide an opportunity for about 40% OB and 60% Gynecology. So strong interest in
Gynecology is a plus.

The opportunity is an employment or income guarantee, physician’s choice.  If employment is chosen a generous base salary
will be provide.  Benefits will include paid malpractice, health, dental, vision, CME allotment, vacation time (PTO), vacation sell
back program, CME time, retirement programs, etc.

Perry Memorial Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital in Northwestern Illinois.  CAH status allows the hospital to receive better
reimbursement for Medicare patients, assuring its financial stability.  The hospital offers a 24-hour physician-staffed
emergency department that is equipped with newly remodeled state of the art trauma rooms as well as a specialized OB/Gyn
room.  Perry also provides intensive care, adult, geriatric and pediatric medical care, and a birthing center.  The birthing
center provides all private rooms, water birthing pool, whirlpool, wireless fetal monitoring, certified lactation consultants,
certified car seat technicians, and an array of prenatal education classes for the entire family.  Perry Memorial Hospital also
provides inpatient and outpatient surgical and rehabilitation services, pain center, special procedures, homecare and hospice
services; Diagnostic services including MRI, CT, Xray, mammography, 3D ultrasound, angiography, EKG, and sleep studies.
