Wabash General Hospital is seeking to add Family Physicians to their community. There is no OB required for this
opportunity. The area does meet the requirements of rural health scholarships and loans. The employment

Wabash General Hospital is a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital in Mt. Carmel, IL. CAH status allows the hospital to
receive better reimbursement for Medicare patients, assuring its financial stability. Wabash General Hospital
provides general medical and surgical care for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room patients. Emergency
room services are available on a 24-hour per day, sevenday per week basis. Wabash General Hospital provides
services such as Medical/Surgical, Swing Bed, Monitored Care Unit, Emergency Care, Ambulance Service,
