Anesthesia opportunity in Kewanee, Illinois
Kewanee Hospital is seeking an Anesthesiologist to join its anesthesia staff. With the opening of the new hospital in 2008 it is
predicted that deliveries and surgeries will increase significantly. There have been increases in surgical staff requiring
recruitment of additional anesthesia providers. The hospital currently has 1 CRNA. There are about 180 births and 1,570
surgeries a year at the hospital. The new hospital will be equipped with two OR’s and a endoscopy room. Most surgeries are
scheduled and outpatient. Call will be 1:2 beeper call. Kewanee Hospital is willing to offer an extremely competitive

Kewanee Hospital operates a Family Health Clinic multi-specialty physician group, and the medical staff includes physicians

obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics, internal medicine, ophthalmology, radiology, and urology. Kewanee Hospital will also be
opening a brand new hospital in 2008. The new hospital and medical office building will be approximately 110,000 square. This
hospital will be equipped with new LDRP’s, private patient inpatient rooms, room service dining, on-site rehabilitation services,
an all new radiology department with state of the art technology, enhanced emergency department, conveniently located
outpatient services, and many other comforts. Kewanee is strategically located an equal distance from the Peoria and Quad
Cities metro areas (less than an hour).
