Hopedale Medical Complex in Hopedale Illinois is seeking a Family Physician to work in a primary care clinic
which the hospital will assist in establishing.
The hospital is open to arrangements that best fit the physician including support arrangements and employment.
Hopedale Medical Complex is an IRS 501(c)(3) not-for-profit 25 bed Critical Access Hospital located in Hopedale, IL. established in 1955. CAH status
allows the hospital to receive better reimbursement for Medicare patients, assuring its financial stability. Hopedale Medical Complex campus includes
the Hopedale Hospital, 74 bed Hopedale Nursing Home, 77 unit Hopedale Commons licensed assisted living, Miss Mona’s Childcare/Preschool, and
Hopedale Wellness Center. Hopedale just added a $18 million dollar addition to the hospital which included new hospital rooms/suites, ED, RHC, ICU.
The Hopedale Medical Arts Physicians building offers numerous physicians in specialties that include primary care, cardiology, neurology, orthopedics,
urology, podiatry, and dentistry. The building also includes a pharmacy, dentist and optometrist. Hopedale also operates satellite physician offices in 4
area towns: Mackinaw, Manito, Delavan and Atlanta.
Hopedale Hospital provides emergency services, surgical services, and inpatient beds. Hopedale Hospital’s emergency department served nearly
2,600 patients last year and its growing 10% a year. The emergency room is open 24 hours a day seven days a week. The ER is a Level III with transfer
agreements with Peoria (25 mi) and Springfield (50 mi) hospitals. The average wait time for patients in the ER is 12 minutes. Hopedale Hospital
provides services such as open MRI, CT including CT heart scan, ultrasound, Mammograms, X-ray, physical, speech and respiratory therapy, hospice
care, cardiac rehabilitation, laboratory services, sleep studies and pharmacy. Surgical services include general surgery, vascular surgery, orthopedic
surgery, podiatric surgery, and plastic surgery.
Hopedale’s Wellness Center rivals centers in large metro areas. This 34,000 square foot facility includes a 25 meter lap pool, 2 smaller therapy pools,
treadmills, recumbent steppers, elliptical machines, recumbent bikes, strength training equipment, indoor running/walking track, gymnasium; yoga, full
time massage therapists, body pump, Pilates classes, babysitting, and free weights and Olympic lifting. The wellness center is open to the public (1,000
members). Rehab services at the center include land and aquatic physical therapy, acupuncture, nutritional counseling, cardiac rehab, and physical

Hopedale is a small, close-knit community in Southeastern Tazewell County off of Illinois route 122 where it intersects with Interstate 155. Interstate 55
