Memorial Hospital in Carthage Illinois has an excellent opportunity for a Family Practice Physician. The clinic is staffed with
three physicians and a certified physician’s assistant. The clinic offers complete family medical and surgical care for patients
of all ages, from newborns to geriatrics. Call for this position will be 1:4.

Memorial Hospital is a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital located in west central Illinois. CAH status allows the hospital to receive
better reimbursement for Medicare patients, assuring its financial stability. The hospital operates 25 beds including a swing
bed unit and LDRP’s. The hospital emergency room is staffed 24 hours a day and sees about 3,900 patients per year. Memorial
Hospital is a fully equipped hospital providing services which include MRI, CT, nuclear medicine, EKG, X-Ray, mammograms,
ultrasounds, PET, bone density scans, echocardiography, laboratory services, cardiac rehab; physical therapy, and many
community support services.
Located in western Illinois, just a few miles east of the Mississippi, Carthage is the county seat of Hancock County. Carthage is
a safe and quiet place to live and work with a growing economy that revolves around agriculture and manufacturing. Carthage
