Orthopedic PA/NP position in northern Illinois
Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton, IL is recruiting a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join an
Orthopedic Surgeon. Experience or subspecialty training in Orthopedic Surgery is necessary. The PA/NP will see
patients in the Orthopedics clinic Monday through Friday and will also be the Orthopedic Surgeons first assist in
surgeries on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The PA/NP will assist in call coverage for inpatients as well as take some
ED call, approximately every other weekend. The clinic sees about 45 patients per day.
This will be a full time employment opportunity. There will be competitive salary compensation. Benefits will

Perry Memorial Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital in Northwestern Illinois. CAH status allows the hospital to
receive better reimbursement for Medicare patients, assuring its financial stability. The hospital offers a 24-hour
physician-staffed emergency department that is equipped with state of the art trauma rooms as well as a
specialized OB/Gyn room. Perry provides intensive care, adult, geriatric and pediatric medical care, and a birthing
center. Perry Memorial Hospital provides inpatient and outpatient surgical and rehabilitation services, cardio-
pulmonary rehabilitation, orthopedics, pain center, special procedures, access to homecare and hospice services;
and electronic medical records. Diagnostic services include digital MRI, CT, Xray, mammography, angiography,

Princeton is a rural community with urban flair. With a population of 7,600, Princeton is located just off I-80.
Princeton is centrally located 2 hours southwest of downtown Chicago and just 1 hour from the Quad Cities,

rooms. A 40’ x 80’ multi-purpose room with adjacent kitchen provides the perfect setting for conventions,
expositions, meetings, or wedding receptions. The Princeton area provides educational opportunities for all
ages. Princeton provides excellent public schools as well as several private schools. Higher education can be
obtained at nearby Illinois Valley Community College.
